How do I care for my knife?:  Most of the knives I make are made from carbon steel, meaning that if these knives are not cared for properly they will rust. Methods that will stop a blade from developing is rust is to constantly keep the knife clean and free from constant contact with water and lightly oiling the blade will also prevent the blade from rusting. Be sure to dry the blade after any use, Do not put a wet knife back it the sheath, it will rust. During long term storage to prevent the knife from rusting it is good practice to oil the blade and not to store the blade in the sheath because moisture can build inside the sheath leading to rust build up.
